just what the heck IS old-time music?

  • $5 for class or jamming. Guitar, banjo, mandolin, fiddle, acoustic bass, dobro and autoharp are taught in a cooperative beginner group atmosphere. Lesson lasts one hour. jamming after until 9:30. Acoustic stringed instruments only! The goal is to play music, have fun and make friends.

3rd SAT 7pm - Washington Old-Time Fiddlers Association, District 10, all-acoustic jam in Vancouver, WA at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship Hall, 4505 E. 18th Street, Vancouver. All acoustic instrument players welcome. Very user-friendly, informal jam. Refreshments and room to dance. Receptive audience. Donation at door.
